On the morning of 23 May, 51 private security professionals who have excelled in their work with the National Police were honoured in Guadalajara on the occasion of Private Security Day.
Antonio González Fernández, an employee of Vigipres (part of the CV Group), was among those honoured for his performance and professionalism.
The event, chaired by the Spanish government's sub-delegate to the province of Guadalajara, Mercedes Gómez, was also attended by the provincial chief commissioner, Ángel José Alcázar, and the head of the provincial civil security brigade, Javier Martínez Gironés.
In her speech, the sub-delegate noted that the delivery of these awards helps to give visibility to the forces and state security forces and corps can improve the security of citizens. For his part, the commissioner reviewed the results of the cooperation between the National Police and private security professionals in various fields, betting on the deepening of this line of work and training.
