On the 27th of May, the Provincial Delegate of Economy, Businesses and Employment for the Community Council of Castilla-La Mancha, was able to verify the proper use of the funds contributed, and how the students have acquired the necessary practical and professional skills.
In the simulation, which took place in the practice field of the FERGOS Training Center, located on CM-400 km 127, the students put into practice the most important knowledge they had acquired during the course.
This was witnessed by Agustín Espinosa Romero, Provincial Delegate of Economy, Business and Employment for the Community Council of Castilla-La Mancha, who highlighted the importance of this course, and its high rate for employability:
“This is an exclusive course in Castilla La-Mancha due to the difficulties of having all the necessary means in place. For this reason, the Community Council of Castilla La-Mancha helps the center with financial means, in order to carry out correct training processes for students. "
The delegate was accompanied by staff from the center, the director of the CV Group (to which Fergos Training Centre belongs) César Plaza, the training coordinator Jesús Bonillo, and by the firefighters who teach this professional training, Marcelino Lomas and Ángel Jesús Gómez, both firefighters from the Ciudad Real Emergency Consortium.
The drill, which lasted almost the entire morning, had 3 different parts, which are very important within the syllabus of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Course:
- Extrication from traffic accidents
- Chemical fire extinguishing with foam concentrate
- Fire extinguishing, in multi-storey housing
The activity proceeded normally, and the students successfully completed all the tests.
