From today, 6 November, Vigipres will be carrying out new patrols in the Campo de Montiel area.
Several olive oil mills in the area have contracted private surveillance to protect their members' agricultural land from theft, while in some areas it has been carried out in a public way with the authorisation of the government sub-delegation. In addition, and for the same purpose, several services have been reinforced in the town councils of the province of Ciudad Real.
This service currently has two new patrols, which will be reinforced by two more patrols in a few days, in an attempt to prevent and avoid the olive thefts that have been occurring.
